CRE News Today is an independent commercial real estate news publication founded in 2026 and edited by Sam Losek, a Phoenix-based commercial real estate professional. We report on the deals, development, financing, and market shifts that move the U.S. commercial property industry — and we tell you where every fact came from.

Why we exist

Commercial real estate news is often locked behind expensive terminals, buried in press releases, or scattered across dozens of regional outlets. Our goal is simple: give brokers, investors, developers, and lenders a single, fast, honestly-sourced feed of what actually happened — with enough context to act on it. When a story deserves more than a summary, we publish original analysis under a real byline rather than a faceless “editorial team.”

How we report

Accuracy and transparent sourcing are the foundation of everything we publish. Concretely, that means:

• We link our sources. Every news story is written from — and identifies and links to — the reporting, filing, or company announcement it is based on, so you can verify the facts and read further.
• We attribute, not copy. We summarize relevant developments in our own words, credit the underlying reporting, and do not present another publication’s work as our own.
• We fact-check before publishing. Drafts are checked against their sources for the details that matter most — the parties to a deal, prices, square footage, and dates — and rejected if they can’t be grounded.
• We correct openly. Verified errors are fixed promptly, and material corrections are noted on the article.
• We keep advertising separate. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled and never influences our editorial coverage.
