What we consider

We welcome relevant commercial real estate news tips, press releases, contributed perspectives, and sponsored articles. Coverage includes property transactions, development, finance, investment, proptech, construction, and the people and businesses working in these fields.

News tips and press releases can be brief. Contributed perspectives should offer useful, original expertise, data, or reporting. Tell us whether you are submitting independently or on behalf of a sponsor or client so we can review the story in the appropriate context.

Article submission requirements

• An original draft of at least 800 words for a contributed or sponsored article. This minimum does not apply to a news tip or press release.
• A named, verifiable author, a short bio, and a current title and organization.
• Links or citations supporting factual claims and market data.
• Confirmation that the original article has not been published elsewhere and is not AI-only generated.
• Any preferred author headshot or company image, with confirmation of publication rights and the required credit.

Send a Word document, an accessible Google Doc link, or the article in the body of an email. An outline or short pitch is welcome before you prepare a full draft.

Sponsored article pricing

Our standard fee for a client-supplied sponsored article is $95 USD. This includes editorial review, light copy editing, a publicly accessible sponsored article URL if accepted, clear sponsor disclosure, and one relevant commercial attribution link. Additional writing and event packages are listed on our advertising page.

Any complimentary pilot or fee waiver must be confirmed individually by the editor in writing. A waiver does not change the editorial review, disclosure, or link requirements for a sponsored submission.

Editorial review and publication

We retain final editorial control, including the headline, copy edits, fact-checking, and whether a submission meets our standards. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. We may request supporting information or revisions before deciding whether to publish.

Accepted sponsored articles remain publicly accessible on CRE News Today. Our editorial standards and corrections policy apply to all published content. Commercial relationships do not influence our independent news coverage.

Disclosure and links

Sponsored articles are clearly labeled Sponsored. One relevant commercial attribution link may be included and will use rel="sponsored". We do not sell dofollow links, paid insertions into existing news articles, or undisclosed endorsements.

We cannot guarantee search engine indexing, rankings, or search visibility. A publicly accessible article is not a promise of indexing or a particular search result.

Material we do not accept

We do not accept AI-only rewrites, undisclosed advertorials, or paid link insertions. Sponsored submissions involving gambling, adult content, CBD, crypto speculation, or payday lending are outside our accepted categories.
