Landmark completes The Standard at Los Angeles, a 1,261-bed student community near USC

Landmark Properties has opened The Standard at Los Angeles, adding 1,261 student beds near USC and more than 13,000 square feet of retail along South Figueroa Street, according to the developer's August 24 announcement.
The eight-story community at 3900 South Figueroa Street is 0.3 miles from campus. Its 429 furnished apartments range from studios to five-bedroom units, with private bathrooms and in-unit laundry. HED designed the building, and Landmark's construction division served as general contractor.
Shared facilities include a rooftop pool, study areas, a fitness center and an outdoor dog park. A gated garage accommodates residents and visitors, including retail customers and event parking.
The delivery extends Landmark's presence around both USC and UCLA. In 2025, the company acquired the USC-serving Icon Plaza and West 27th Place communities and completed The Mark Los Angeles near UCLA. The Standard is its second ground-up development in the city.
